Had the longest weekend ever; I’ll let the Pictures do most of the ‘talking’.
Some of the guys threw my brother a Bachelor party on Thursday night to signify the final night of His Single-hood.
Then it was the hectic final day preparation on Friday including car decoration, last minute guest list confirmation and changes for the Ceremony itenary, settling of accommodation for relatives and the bride as well as her bride’s mates.
Saturday, We (the brothers) started off the morning by enduring the games played by the bride’s mates before Kenneth could meet Laura; Thanks to the Chinese peeps that introduced this culture to the Africana sisters.
After that, we experienced an emotional traditional tea ceremony where my brother and wife paid respect to their elders. Watching how open my grandmother, parents and other relatives accepted Laura to the family was great, everyone then got teary when my brother served tea to Laura’s mom.
The beautiful wedding ceremony was held at Menara KL’s upper deck; unreal scenery.
The partly African themed-wedding dinner was filled with joy & laughter; everyone enjoyed it.
I’m actually lost for words.
I’ve seen Kenneth and Laura’s relationship spiral from Ups to Downs and Up again.
I can’t believe my brother is married, still.
truly, a match made in heaven.
