I heard, the last major-outing cafe ministry had was approx’ two years ago,
however, the most recent one i was part of was the ‘exclusive farewell dinner’ we had for/ with Kevin Rimas.
exclusive not by choice, but causes of minor miss-communication and major misunderstanding;
hence the “massive” turnout. disappointing really.

putting that aside,

Abel (cafe’s boss/ shareholder)  wanted another outing;

his emphasis would be members being bonded and getting to know one other better,

me, i wanted them to feel appreciated as they deserved it.

however, no one was willing to initiate or respond to this idea;
we lacked a person that would just ‘make it happen’,

finally, i stepped up ( after many people insisting).
i chose the place (after many rejections of previous suggestions);
i arranged the time (after making sure majority of the members would be able to make it);
transportation was taken care of; and this time, no miss communications nor misunderstanding.

16 of us turn up for diner @ shabu shabu, Bandar Puteri,
after dinner, we traveled all the way to George’s place, Casa Damansara PJ for a bonding session.
the fellowship was really good, timely as well,

its been awhile since i experienced so many LOL moments.

and we celebrated Damian and Vi Jun’s birthday!
