Post Camp Reflections:
Lego Me Brother: The Theme; placed the emphasis on Christians building other Christians.
Seeing how close and bonded many CF members were throughout the semester, who knew that we were far from considered being a brotherhood.
Ms Annette could had preached on sugary coated messages throughout camp, but no; she went to the core of our hearts, exposing most of our true nature and our flaws.
Different lego pieces are required in order to built a complete structure. (In our case, Brotherhood)
These pieces include:
Humility; to commit ego suicide and be servants to our brothers,
Consecration; to set apart and dedicate our lives to our brothers,
Grace; to put down our swords against our own, learning to forgive again,
and lastly, Sacrifice.
During the altar call on the third day, many responded,
i wept,
to know that i’m leaving my comfort zone (Campus Ministry) and committing myself to a whole different challenge (Work and Cell Group) alone; the uncertainties and many unresolved issues was all too overwhelming.
Overall, the camp was great, Fresh! to say the least.
the perfect time to rest be refreshed, to love, to give, to be still, to listen, to forgive, to be ministered and encounter our first love again.
These are just some of my favourite pics from Camp; each has its own significance to me.
uploaded the rest of the day 1&2 as well as day 3&4 pictures via facebook.
