I take the public transport to KL. From Puchong, I drive to Asia Jaya. I take the LRT to Dang Wangi. from Dang Wangi, I take the Bukit nanas monorail to Raja Chulan. Yes, its a bit of a hassle, but it definitely beats the KL traffic during peak hours.

This morning, I bump into a friend I knew since my Pre-U days in Asia Jaya station.

I was rather happy to see her and looked forward to catching up with her, I mean..she was the the first person I went clubbing with! she and her popular friends exposed me to a whole new world! one which i did not experience in highschool (since I was excluded from the ‘happening crowd’…meh)

But anyways…

We made small talks; and the train came.
We got in together.
All the seats were taken but one, she went over and sat there.
Awkward moment for me as I was thinking “I should stand over there too, and continue our conversation right?”..

NO!

she picked up her book, and started reading it… completely ignoring me.

I felt sad lar!
coz maybe all this while, when I categorized her as one of my ‘happening’ friend; she saw me as the ‘not-so-happening’ acquaintance.

Its a simple sad, because there is not much i can do or want to do to save whatever ‘relationship’ we had.
If i were to be honest, there wasn’t really a genuine friendship between us in the first place.

How easy it is, for us to lose touch completely and lose a friend entirely if no one made the effort.
and More importantly, how superficial it is, to have made friends without the authentic connections.

they could comment or give feedback, but most of the time they choose to complain.

their complain/request/appeal are subject to approval by management;

We cannot promise them anything, but we can try out best.

today,  a customer received a phone call from the complain department saying that her problem was not resolved and her request/complain was rejected.

I told my boss about this; and his reply was,

“Don’t worry, the appeal case is rejected but not final. The complain department only rejected the case because they do not have the authority to approve it”.

Those words, blew my mind.

its like, “Eh, ya wor! they memang takde authority! but we go to them because they are ‘supposed’ help us sort out our problems..!”
But ACTUALLY, there are higher authorities.

and if you think about all your problems/ stress/ life issues, we got access to the Highest Authority!

I bought bananas. the premium kind.

yes, that was all.

The cashier took my money and then gave me back the change and receipt.

I looked at her; she looked at me.

I asked, “where is my banana?”.

she asked me, “eh, where is your banana!?”

she looked left, then right. and said “i think the previous guy took it”.

We paused for a minute..
she continued to serve the next customer.

I stopped her, and asked ” are we waiting for the guy to come back with my bananas? i am pretty sure that is not going to happen.. am I supposed to speak to someone or do something?” i continued.. “are you going to call your supervisor or am I supposed to be the one who looks for him and explain to him my situation?”

She panicked abit, since this is the first time she’d experienced banana theft.

She went to look for her supervisor, explained the situation.. and gave me new bananas.

the new bananas cost rm1 more, I won.

Moral of the story, rm1 makes a difference.

I work in a bank.

interest rate for credit cards are 18% and personal loans can go up to 11%; late charges and penalty fees can ranges from RM5 to hundreds and even thousands (if you’re a bad paymaster)

If I can get irritated by the idea of losing Bananas costing rm4.50 .. imagine the amount of angry people i meet on a daily basis.

meh?

Well, i lost approx 16-17 kg and hit plateau for Months!

I’ve been doing alot more intensive workouts and the results are amazing. i think i lost 4kgs in 1-2 month.

So now, i can officially say.. i lost a total of 20kgs!

If i can change someone else’s life like how herbalife changed mine.

I don’t mind going into the business, full time. hmm.
